MSEL: Just Start! (aka "Reflections on a Year")

I started to write a blog post reflecting on my first year of self-employment and it somehow turned into a video blog – my first video blog ever. And seeing myself on video is kinda creeping me out.

But in the spirit of just doing it, I’m posting it anyway. Bags under my eyes, streetcar passing in front of my apartment, bad lighting, funky aspect ratio, sound of Jake whining in the background be damned. If I waited until I had a perfect video, this post would never be done.

Oh, and it’s my one-year consulting/working artist anniversary! Thanks for joining me on this fun (but crazy) ride!

  3. Happy Anniversary! I started my business in a similar manner. I decided to focus on my dreams, look forward and work hard. So far no regrets and I hope this is just the beginning of a great career. Hope you’ll have many successful years ahead of you! All the best.
