farmers’ market

Now that the area outside my kitchen has been pigeon-proofed, I can plant in my window boxes again. Verbena from the Heart of the City Farmers Market. I chose this plant because it’s drought-resistant (meaning, it will survive two weeks of neglect).

I spent a few weekends in LA for a little vacation and activities surrounding a friend’s wedding (more on that trip in another post), so I’d missed out on the last three Sunday Heart of the City Farmers’ Markets. This is my favorite farmers’ market in San Francisco. I find the Ferry Building market too
