screenprinting

Here’s what I’m making with my Palmer Method linen. Using my best handwriting, I wrote out a few words (“stuff,” “notes,” “bag”) and made screens with them, too. I’m thinking that not all the bags will say “stuff” (or “bag”), but I like the cheekiness of the one-worders. I’ll add these to my etsy shop […]

I’d been so caught up in reprints that I was starting to burn out on printing. But when the idea for this print came into my head – complete with an almost-perfect image of what the finished print would look like – I had to take a break from pre-Renegade production work to print this

My labels have arrived. Heck, they look so good that I feel like I’ve arrived. I spent the better part of my Sunday sewing a bunch of chevron-print linen bags with my new labels on the lining. I mapped out my production schedule from now until Renegade. It’s not quite as daunting as I’d thought

Not one to waste anything, I made tiny sachets using linen leftover from cutting fabric for my new bags. I’ll probably put these away for Renegade. I only have enough linen to make nine sets. Well, for now. I suppose if I cut more bags, I’ll have more leftovers.
