Week 2: Linocut on paper. And since some of you had requested an image of the block, here you go. I’d forgotten how much harder this medium is than screenprinting.

Jen you are such an inspiration. I have a degree in Drawing/Painting/Printmaking, emphasis on Printmaking, but I’m not using it at all. I even have a small press. Gah. Screen printing was my first love (I have a huge screen in storage, even) but most of my work in college was etching… anyway, I’m living vicariously through you right now. Thank you. = )
Well, Jamie, my degree is in English Literature, and I’m not reading nearly as much as I wish I were! Thanks for following along. Hopefully you’ll be inspired to do something creative and fun soon.
Love this so much. So inspired by you and this project (and now I totally want about a bag and maybe a room wallpapered in this print!)
