Alignment

Registering (or aligning) prints can be nerve-wracking work at first. It’s simpler on paper, with its hard edges and low cost. But when you work with fabric, which is so much more elastic and expensive, the stakes are higher.

But soon you fall into a groove. Registering and printing become almost Zen-like. There’s something calming about the repetition, and, later, about the sense of mastery.

I’m two weeks in to what I’d thought would be a one-week print project. This is challenging, physical work, and yet I find myself looking forward to going to the studio each morning.

One more week of printing these bags, and then it will be time for a new project, a new challenge, a new set of skills to master.

  1. Howdy! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know
how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when viewing from my apple iphone.

I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to resolve this problem.

If you have any suggestions, please share. Many thanks!

  2. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your blog.
It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did
you hire out a designer to create your theme? Superb work!

  3. Do you mind if I quote a couple of your posts as long
as I provide credit and sources back to your website? My
blog is in the exact same niche as yours and my visitors
would really benefit from some of the information you provide here.

Please let me know if this ok with you. Cheers!

  4. With havin so much content do you ever run into any
problems of plagorism or copyright infringement? My website has a lot of unique
content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but
it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement.
Do you know any techniques to help reduce content from being stolen?
    I’d genuinely appreciate it.

  5. My partner and I stumbled over here coming from a different web address and thought
I might as well check things out. I like what I see so
i am just following you. Look forward to looking
at your web page for a second time.
