You may have noticed that when I discover I like making a certain item, I tend to make variations of that same item over and over again (for example, bird mobiles, handkerchiefs, totebags, iPhone covers). I eventually get tired of the item – or else run out of a particular fabric – and move on to something new.
But I’m not tired of cocktail napkins yet! So I’ve made another set, using another Amy Butler pattern. This set of cocktail napkins will probably be put aside in my Christmas gift pile.
Work has been very busy and stressful of late. Days like these call for nights of simple but satisfying sewing projects that allow me to focus on an easy task. It’s all very Zen.
These are cute as well. How many sets have you made thus far? Do you keep them all, or do a large percentage end up in the Christmas gift pile??
Most of them go in the Christmas pile, or get used as hostess gifts. If I give the things I make away, I get to make even more things!
