It is dreary outside right now – I’m not sure if it’s heavy fog or actual drizzle (or if there’s actually a difference between the two). These flowers remind me that it is, indeed, summer, even if it feels like January.

Day 1: squares cut and sewn together, birds cut and pinned on. Day 2: birds hand-sewn on I finished sewing a dress – the first piece of clothing I’ve made in almost 20 years. And, well, it looks like a home ec project. It’s wearable and even flattering, but I’m not ready to reveal it
