I’ve attached half the binding and added a little detail around the birds (the embroidery goes through all three layers, so it’s now officially a quilt).
A nice lady at Britex (and there’s a phrase I never thought I’d say) helped me choose the mustard fabric for the binding. I’d been looking for a red or an off-black, but neither color offered enough visual contrast or interest.
I must finish the quilt this weekend so I can start on another project.
