A lot of people have asked me about Jake. He’s doing well. Aside from his meds regimen and his constant need to pee, he’s acting like himself. It’s sometimes hard to believe that he’s very sick and doesn’t have a long life ahead of him.
Even though my blog is titled “Jen and Jake” I didn’t know how much I wanted to talk about Jake’s illness here. I’ve started a new blog, called “A Year with Jake,” where I celebrate his life, and talk about his progress and about love and death and vulnerability. You can read it here.
