This has been making the blog rounds, but it’s still worth repeating. Ira Glass (of This American Life) talks about storytelling – but, moreover, he talks about the creative process (and about accepting being crappy at you want to do at first, but practicing until you become great). It’s fantastic (and not just because I have a mad crush on Ira). I recommend watching all four videos.

I haven’t seen these before, thanks for posting! I really get what he is saying about having the taste but not the execution and knowing that what you are making is crap. I just have to take his advice and keep pushing instead of giving up. Ira Glass is the man.
