And aren’t I lucky? Another farmer – Serendipity Farms – gave me 20lbs of heirloom tomatoes yesterday.
Yesterday’s jams and relishes demo at the Farmers’ Market went really well. I made zucchini relish and strawberry jam and I think I introduced a few more people to the joy (and ease) of canning. Next week: Jams and pickles competition! If we had a petting zoo and deep-fried Twinkies, we’d have the Inner Sunset State Fair.
