Poppytalk, one of my favorite blogs, featured my bat mobile last week, unbeknownst to me. I was wondering why the mobile was getting so many hits, especially compared with the hits my other items had been getting.
Bloggers probably know this, but I’ll say it anyway – they support a new artist every time they mention one, show that artist’s work, or link to her site. The bat mobile has received over 400 hits in under a week, which has driven traffic to my other items. And I’ve subsequently sold other items (though the bat mobile has remained unsold).
So, thanks, poppytalk! It really is an honor.
