I had planned to write about yesterday’s election, but nature intervened and sent me a migraine. So, I took the day off from work and spent my morning in a dark, quiet room, silently thanking god for imitrex and vicodin.
My afternoon, however, has mostly been spent noodling on the couch. It’s finally stopped raining (for now), and it’s warm enough to open the windows a little bit and air out the house. I’ve been lying on the couch, a small, warm dog snuggled next to me, and with a light breeze floating in through an open window. If that’s not enough to cure me, I don’t know what is.
