I’d been living with bare windows in my studio for the last two years, waiting for the right curtains to enter my life. I found these linen bedspreads at Urban Outfitters, and hemmed the tops to make them into curtains.
The only problem is that they now make all the other curtains in my apartment look rather shabby. Replacing the other curtains is a project that will have to wait until I’ve re-covered the seats of the chairs in my studio (the chairs were a neighborhood yard sale score at $100 for a set of four).
