Basak and I spent the afternoon working on new onesie concepts for small square design (I know – I was so busy yesterday!). She created prototypes with her Gocco machine, the “bunny joyride” illustration I did for small square, and a couple of Lula’s onesies. We then stitched fabric onto the onesies.
A lot of filming goes on in my parents’ neighborhood. In exchange, the studios give money to the Neighborhood Association, which then hosts a street fair every summer. Residents bake cakes and cookies for the bake sale, local restaurants set up food booths, bands play, and a few games are set up for the kids.
