San Francisco Spring

We’ve had a short respite from the rain, and suddenly – unexpectedly – Golden Gate Park is in bloom. Yes, it’s still a cold-ish 55F during the day, but the sun is out and the days are longer.

I took Jake for a long walk through the AIDS Memorial Grove and picked up a few flowers along the way.

The rain will probably be back soon. I’m not complaining, though – I grew up with constant threats of water rationing and California is, after all, an agricultural state. But until the rain returns, I will enjoy the sun and the flowers and the chance to be outside.
